Pastor Clayton Hall
Pastor Clayton Hall is commissioned as a Provisional Elder in the Texas Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church. He has a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and English from Sam Houston State University and a Master of Divinity degree from Perkins School of Theology at Southern Methodist University. For the last six years he has served First UMC in Mont Belvieu, Love UMC in Baytown, and First UMC in Liberty as a bi-vocational Licensed Local Pastor. After retiring from a career in public safety communications, he now serves the people of Jasper and the United Methodist Church of the Pines as their full-time pastor. Pastor Clayton believes that all people are created in God’s image, and he welcomes and affirms everyone who is either striving or struggling to live into their identity as a child of God. He is married to Mindy, and they have twin teen-aged daughters and an adult son. In his free time, he enjoys hiking, trail running, hunting, fishing, camping, or just being outdoors. He also loves to read and see shows at the theater–anything from a local play to the latest Marvel movie.
